4MRescueKit provides its users with software for antivirus protection, data backup, disk partitioning, and data recovery. It is distributed in the form of a multiboot CD, which includes four (extremely small) operating systems.

This release has Antivirus Live CD 13.1-0.98.7, BakAndImgCD 13.1, 4MParted 13.1, and 4MRecover 13.1.

4MParted 13.1 BETA released.

Booting 4MParted 13.1 in VirtualBox

4MParted is a very small live CD designed for disk partitioning. It's a part of 4MRescueKit, which in turn is one of the three main 4MLinux releases available for downloads.
This version includes GParted 0.22.0 and it uses 4MLinux 13.1 as the base system.

4MRecover 13.1 BETA released.

Midnight Commander running in 4MRecover 13.1

4MRecover is a small live CD designed for data recovery. It's a part of 4MRescueKit, which in turn is one of the three main 4MLinux releases available for downloads.
This version includes TestDisk 7.0 and it uses 4MLinux 13.1 as the base system.

Default desktop in 4MLinux 13.1

4MLinux 13.1 is ready for testing. Edit your documents with LibreOffice 5.0.0.2, surf the Internet with Firefox 38.0.5 and Chrome 43.0.2357.130, enjoy your music collection with Qmmp 0.8.5 and aTunes 3.1.2, watch videos with MPlayer SVN-r37401 and SMPlayer SVN-r6967, play games with Xorg 1.17.1/Mesa 10.5.7 support enabled. You can also setup the 4MLinux LAMP Server (with Linux 3.18.14, Apache 2.4.12, MariaDB 10.0.19, and PHP 5.6.10). Perl 5.22.0 and Python 2.7.10 are also available.

4MLinux 13.1 Core BETA released.

4MLinux 13.1 Core running in VirtualBox

This is a core system (only a few MB in size) for the 4MLinux 13.1 series. The system includes: the Linux kernel 3.18.14, GNU C Library 2.21, and BusyBox 1.23.2. The 4MLinux 13.1 series uses GNU Compiler Collection 5.1.0 to compile programs designed for the i686 architecture.

4MLinux 13.0 STABLE released.

PCManFM in 4MLinux 13.0

The status of the 4MLinux 13.0 series has been changed to STABLE. Major changes in the core of the system, which now uses GNU Compiler Collection 5.1.0 to compile programs designed for the i686 architecture. Additionally, I am very happy to announce that my long work on improving the 4MLinux Desktop has been finished. 4MLinux users can now  enojoy the result of this work: a unique, highly customized mixture of JWM (Joe's Window Manager), Window Maker and PCManFM (see: the 4MLinux Blog for details).
