4MRescueKit 22.0

4MRescueKit provides its users with software for antivirus protection, data backup, disk partitioning, and data recovery. It is distributed in the form of a multiboot CD, which includes four (extremely small) operating systems. 

This release has Antivirus Live CD 22.0-0.99.2, BakAndImgCD 22.0, 4MParted 22.0, and 4MRecover 22.0.

TheSSS (The Smallest Server Suite) is a lightweight server suite distributed as a live CD. This release is based on the 4MLinux Server 22.0, meaning that the components of the LAMP server are now: Linux 4.9.13, Apache 2.4.25, MariaDB 10.2.6, and PHP (both 5.6.30 and 7.0.19). Additionally, DNS (BIND 9.11), FTP (ProFTPD 1.3.6), SMTP (Postfix 3.2.0 with Procmail and Fetchmail) servers are included, too. The 4MLinux server can be manged via its user-friendly WebGUI (LAMP Admin with Webmin 1.840).

4MLinux 21.3 STABLE released.

 rdesktop in 4MLinux 21.3

This is a minor maintenance release in the 4MLinux STABLE channel.  The release ships with the Linux kernel 4.4.70. Additionally, some popular programs (e.g., GNU GRUB, SMTube, VLC) have been updated, too. As a response to user requests, an RDP client (rdesktop 1.8.3) is now available out of the box.

You can update your 4MLinux by executing the "zk update" command in your terminal (fully automatic process).

4MParted 22.0 BETA released.

4MParted 22.0 in action

4MParted is a very small live CD designed for disk partitioning. It's a part of 4MRescueKit, which in turn is one of the three main 4MLinux releases available for download.

This version includes GParted 0.28.1 and it uses 4MLinux 22.0 as the base system.

BakAndImgCD 22.0 available for download.

BakAndImgCD 22.0

BakAndImgCD is an official 4MLinux fork, which has been designed to perform the following two tasks: data backup (the supported filesystems are: btrfs, ext2, ext3, ext4, f2fs, fat16, fat32, hfs, hfs+, jfs, nilfs2, ntfs, reiser4, reiserfs, and xfs) and disk imaging (using Partimage, Partclone, and GNU ddrescue). This release is based on the 4MLinux Backup Scripts 22.0.

4MLinux 21.2 STABLE released.

SMTube in 4MLinux 21.2

This is a minor maintenance release in the 4MLinux STABLE channel.  The release ships with the Linux kernel 4.4.63. Additionally, some popular programs (DropBox, FileZilla, Firefox, Java, LibreOffice, PeaZip) have been updated, too. 4MLinux 21.2 includes changes in WiFi configuration files to fix the problem with password-protected access points reported by some users.
